Together turning and folding
The universe inside out and outside in
What’s writ in stone daily eroding
Bright green leaves and spring flowerin’

Changing positions platforms and poles
In wonder of the new vistas, we link
hands, discovering what the One knows.
As from deep silent depths, new insights blink.

Such beauty you shiver and cry
In the right light I say
Dive in the river yet stay dry
Beauty is also love and play

Step by step arm in arm
Shoulder to shoulder eye to eye
Drop the anger keep the charm
Promises we made speak no lie

Drive madly into the new day
steady the wheel let off steam
Rock the boat and leave or stay
Bolder and softer we live the dream.

30 Nov 2025 Slow flapping of the wings unfolds elegant shapes Light feathers lift sure muscles with steady power Grace and power take flight from water to air Trail of a wake radiates over the smooth surface Leaving behind again the silence between words Fringed by trees that proud stand in a colorful palette Red, green and yellow leaves arrayed perfectly scattered And boughs that bow to the water, try to kiss their shadows And then some stand shaped like dancing buildings Twisting trunks that give out flat green layered terraces And among them is the stone, rough-cut and weather-smoothed As though cooll-ly impervious to its presence in the scene serene Wizened sculpted trunks with delicately fringed red leaves Water bounces happily to settle into calm serene reflecting ponds Steady gravitas as rock and patterned pebbles hold the mind’s eye All dotted with bold colors of flowers blue yellow and perfect That show up surprised and smiling coyly As though the adoring eye...

A Walk In The Autumn Woods

by Shreefal Mehta Oct 2025 Jackets stayed home, boxed along with thoughts of winter. The forest feels open, airy, and somehow lighter After the hot and heavy broad leafy growth of summer. Light-leaved branches invite the sun to pour in as through an open door Now bathing the moss and rust-leaved forest floor, all in shade before. Yellow, orange red splatters covering the brown rustling carpeted floor Each leaf grown on its own high twig; and then fallen, perfectly in place The wind, in which it once swayed, gently carried it down through space. Once high pristine green, from canopy to carpet, still gracing patterns that interlace. Every leaf unfurls its role fully, even as the leaf now lies. Abundant growth now fallen in patterns, to human eyes, delight give.
